This is definitely a moment I will remember for the rest of my life. Just when you think the people are becoming more distant and self-absorbed, you get surprised. I mean, even when people do something nice that doesn’t require them going out of their way to do it, I am rather shocked. But two people, driving home from, then back to, the laundromat just to give two strangers eating cheese a lovely glass of champers is almost inconceivable.
It’s an understatement to say we were shocked. We were literally lost for words and barely managed to bumble out enough words that could be taken as thanks. I am pretty sure we even high fived eachother, as a celebration of humanity. So to those two people who brought us champagne….you guys are amazing. Truly.
