87/365: Apple Store Opening

July 3, 2010

Sent 26 June 2010

I am a terrible Apple Fangirl. According to the line at the Apple store opening in Perth I am a rather rare breed. As I stood there trying to keep warm in the 1 degree freezing cold I had to jump, not just to keep warm, but to actually spot another girl in the huddled masses. And I thought to myself that perhaps this is an untapped resource for all the single girls out there in Perth. Well, that’s if you don’t mind a somewhat geeky man…which I sure don’t!

So, single girls of Perth. Want to find yourself surrounded by plethora of excited men? Head down to the new Apple store. If you’re quick you may even get a free tshirt!

Till tomorrow

*Disclaimer* this post was written on the day of the opening, though it won't be uploaded for a week. So they'll probably be out of t-shirts by then. Sorry.

Hello addressee no. 87! Thanks for the pic!

85/365: The sun lied

July 1, 2010

Sent 24 June 2010

That’s the last time I go out when I’m feeling sick, wearing a skirt no matter how sunny it looks outside. I love Perth. The amount of sun we get, even in the middle of winter, is rather unfair. Even as I write this there is a beautiful cloudless blue sky framed in my windows. The only problem though is that it can be rather deceiving. The sun and lack of clouds would suggest heat. In theory. In reality the sun is mainly there for show, and though people from properly cold countries would laugh at me for going to the shops wearing a blanket toga style, it’s actually rather chilly.
